From the Halls of Montezuma, to the alleys of Fallajuh, and all points in between. For over 160 years, men and women from Collin County have fought and died to keep America free.

The honor, bravery, and sacrifice of these Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, has established the flag of the United States of America, in the eyes of the world, as the definitive symbol for the word "Freedom."

The site you are about to enter is filled with the names of 320 brother warriors.
Though they are no longer with us in body, their spirits live on.
"A SOLDIER IS NOT DEAD UNTIL HE IS FORGOTTEN."
It is our sworn duty as Veterans to insure that no Soldier ever dies. No Brother left behind! As you enter this Hall of Heroes, walk softly with reverence and respect, yet hold your head high with pride. You are among family. And remember, fellow Warrior, on that day when you are relieved of duty and fall-in among their ranks, there will be another Warrior to take your place and walk that post in a military manner until the day he is properly relieved; and so on, and so on, and ...

BROWN, ROBERT R.  20, Plano, Cpl. B Co. 4th Bn. 47th Inf. KIA Oct. 1, 1967 in Vietnam.
BUNCH, FRANK  Celina, Pvt. Medical Dept. died Oct. 17, 1918.
BURNETT, WILLIAM G.  Navy, KIA Oct. 25, 1944 when his ship, the USS Johnson, was sunk off the coast of Samar Island in the Philippines.
CLARK, GEORGE W.  PFC Quartermaster Corps, died Oct. 25, 1918.
CUFFMAN, ROBERT J. 24,  Allen, Pvt. Supply Co. 28th Inf. KIA Oct. 1, 1918 at St. Mihiel, France.
COMPTON, AENARD (ANN)  28, Allen, US Army Nurse Corps, died of pneumonia 6 Oct. 1918 in Washington DC. Buried at Allen Cemetery. The only servicewoman from Texas to die during WWI.

DUCKWORTH, ERIC T. 26, Plano,  759th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade. KIA 10 Oct. 2007 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
FERRELL, CLARENCE R.  Plano, Pvt. 79th Balloon Co. Air Service, died Oct. 25, 1918.
FLOYD, JOHN W.  Allen, Pvt. Quartermaster Corps, died Oct. 7th, 1918 at Olvors, France.
GILBERT, THADIASO. 26,  Farmersville, Pvt. Co. C, 143rd Regt. 36th Div. KIA Oct. 8, 1918 in France.
HINDS, CALVIN E.  McKinney, Pvt. Medical Dept. died October 15, 1918.
JOHNSON, PORTER W.  Millwood, Pvt. Co. F. 26th Inf. KIA in France Oct. 1, 1918.

MATHERS, GEORGE S.  McKinney, Cpt. Chaplain, Medical Corps, died Oct. 6, 1918.
MORRISON, EDGAR M.  Farmersville, Pvt. 18036364, K Co. 31st Inf., killed while POW aboard Arisan Maru when sunk by USS Shark Oct. 24, 1944. 
PEARSON, W. M.  Plano, Pvt. USMC, KIA Oct. 31, 1944 in New Guinea while on eight-man recon patrol. His body was carried eight miles through the jungle by comrades and is buried in the South Pacific.
PEEBLES, SIDNEY  Weston, Pvt. 46th Co. 12th Bn. 163rd Depot Brigade, died Oct. 22, 1918.

STILES, CLEO W.  Farmersville, 17th Army Air Corps, killed Oct. 11, 1942 in plane crash.
THURMAN, GEORGE W.  Celina,  Pvt. Co. A. 123rd Inf. died Oct. 16, 1918.
TIMMS, JAMES O.  Wylie, Pvt. Co F, 23rd Inf. KIA in France Oct. 15, 1918. Buried in France.
TYLER, ROBERT L.  McKinney, Pvt. 337th Squadron, Camp Stuart, Va. died Oct. 14, 1918.
WHITE, EARL  Plano, 36th Div. KIA October, 1944.
