VETERANS MEMORIAL
PARK in McKINNEY
WALL of HONOR
|
From the Halls of Montezuma, to the alleys of
Fallajuh, and all points in between. For over 160 years, men and women
from Collin County have fought and died to keep America free. |
 |
The honor, bravery, and sacrifice of these
Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, has established the Stars &
Stripes in the eyes of the world, as the definitive
symbol for the word "Freedom." |
The site you are about to enter contains the names of
326 brother warriors.
Though they are no longer with us in body, their spirits
live on.
"A SOLDIER IS NOT DEAD UNTIL HE IS FORGOTTEN."
It is our sworn duty as Veterans to insure that no Soldier ever dies. No Brother
left behind! As you enter this Hall of Heroes, walk softly with reverence and
respect, yet hold your head high with pride. You are among family. And remember,
fellow Warrior, on that day when you are relieved of duty and fall-in among
their ranks, there will be another Warrior to take your place and walk that post
in a military manner until the day he is properly relieved; and so on, and so
on, and ...
